About Me

I have over 36 years insurance experience with State Farm, 12 years in Auto Claims, and now 24 as a State Farm Agent in Wichita, Kansas. I met my wife Sheri when we were both 17 years old, still in High School. We have 2 beautiful girls, Chandler (28) and Ashley (26) who both earned their master's degrees in education. We also have a son Brock (18) who attends school at Andover Central High School in Andover, Kansas. He will be graduating this year and will be attending Kansas University in the fall. We are also blessed with two grandsons, Easton who is 5 years old and Ryker who is now 2. We also received a new granddaughter, Aspen Marie, a few months ago. She is gorgeous little girl. They are so fun to play with. During my first 12 years working in Auto Claims, I was able to witness firsthand, the impact of a local Insurance Agent in times of devastation and the reassurance of being insured with the most financially stable insurance company in the U.S. I watched internal efforts to truly put the "customer" first in everything we do and the significance of educating customers in an overly complicated subject. Throughout the last 24 years, I have developed a passion for taking my learning's, combined with my personality, to create and foster trusting relationships making the goal for my State Farm Agency, first and foremost to help others. As we focus on developing these relationships, our priority is to ensure each member of our team shares the same passion and values. We are there for our customers in their time of joy and time of need and make it our mission to serve and support our community. I’ve worked as a Customer Representative for State Farm for 24 years, and take great satisfaction in caring for my State Farm family who also become my dearest friends. When not working at State Farm I stay busy on my farm where I care for my Shetland show ponies and my American Paint show horses, chase around my 9 grandkids, and enjoy the great outdoors! ~

I am a born and raised Kansas girl, grew up in Independence, KS. I am a Pitt State Gorilla and have lived in the Wichita area for 30 years. I started my career at State Farm in bodily injury automobile claims for 5 1⁄2 yrs. then went on to agency management for 2 1/2yrs. I left State Farm to become a stay at home mom for my two children, Austin & Hannah. Austin (22) just graduated Magna Cum Laude’ with dual degrees from Wichita State University. Hannah (20) is a current Wichita State University student. I’ve been working with Don for 8 yrs., our office collectively work together to give our customers quality customer service. We truly care about our policyholders and will go above and beyond to provide the utmost care. We don’t do it because we have to, we do it because we want to! Outside of the office, I enjoy running and teaching Yoga; my husband Scott & I raise Texas Longhorns on our farm outside of Rose Hill. ~
